Yes, raising or lowering chambers to meet a new finished level is routine work for us and we fit the correct cover for the location.
Do you build to adoptable standards?
Where required, yes — we construct and finish chambers ready for authority inspection.
Can you access a manhole that's been built over?
In most cases yes - we can excavate down to locate and expose it, then rebuild or raise it to a sensible, accessible level.
How do I know if my manhole needs rebuilding rather than just raising?
If the brickwork or benching inside is cracked, crumbling or letting water in around the base, it usually needs rebuilding rather than a simple raise - we'll tell you honestly which one your chamber needs.
How much does a new manhole or inspection chamber cost?
It depends on the depth, the size of chamber needed and whether it's domestic or a heavier-duty commercial or adoptable specification. We'll quote once we know the depth and loading required.
